MEPS Profile

Maeko English Private School (MEPS) is an English institution which offering English courses for the society and especially for the students. Since 2002 to date has produced more than 900 students who have accomplished their course in many levels have spread across Indonesia province and regency. MEPS occupied a rent building and new own building for office and administrative space including its official and course programs.

MEPS are providing the best service and courses that are relevant to the needs of the community throughout Indonesia especially in the eastern of Indonesia. MEPS also prepare a quality resource that able to improve education in the area and at the same level of welfare.

MEPS Makassar facilities include:

MEPS English teachers and staffs:

• All the teachers are graduate and undergraduate certificate teachers

• All the staffs are competence on their duty.

• Free to consult the students’ English problem with the staffs and teachers

MEPS Makassar conducts English conversation course for children and adult in low of tuition fee. The students can enjoy and feel comfortable in the class, and just in the short time they are able to speak English grammatically and ungrammatically. In teaching approach MEPS apply Communicative Language Teaching where the students active using their English speaking in the class. All of the material based on the speaking skill such as; listening comprehensive, the students have to listen and report what they have listened in English, writing, the students have to write and explain that they have written, and reading comprehensive, the students read the English text before, then they retell or report the main idea of the reading which they have read to their friends in the class. All of these four skills have to be practiced in the class among their friends for one hour. On Sunday program, MEPS Makassar offers English meeting Club as media for the students to practice their English freely. This program is free of charge and free for public. The boards of this program are the senior students of MEPS. There are many English activities run in this program are set by the boards in order that the students can be stimulated to share their English.
